Process

  • Team will generate TRN, and request you the OTP, upon successful verification, team will submit the final application.
  • You need to have Aadhaar registered mobile number to do Aadhar Authentication. If there is no Aadhar registered mobile number, GST officer will come for site visit
  • Estimated Processing Time: depends on govt processing, generally within 3-7 working days for Aadhar Authenticated Tax Payers and 7-30 days for Non- Aadhaar Authenticated Taxpayers.

Documents (images / photos) to be Submitted

  • Copy of PAN of Proprietor (Partners / Directors in case of a company or firm).
  • Copy of PAN of Organization (if not a sole proprietor).
  • Copy of Aadhaar of Proprietor (Partners / Directors in case of a company or firm).
  • Passport Size Photos of Proprietor / Partners / Directors.
  • e-mail ID & Mobile Number of Proprietor / Partners / Directors.
  • electricity bill or property tax paid receipt (If place of business is owned by any of the Proprietor / Partners / Directors).
  • Rental Agreement / Lease Agreement (If Rental).
  • If the place of business is owned by the relatives, NOC (No Objection Certificate) is required. Download NOC template to use.
  • Nature of business & Trade name of the business.
  • Company Incorporation Certificate (INC) / Partnership Deed (if applicable).
  • Letter of Authorizations (in case of Partnership or Company). Download LOA template to use.
  • Geocoding of Address of Principal place of business: Photo of the proprietor with Location and Timestamp watermark (refer instructions on how to take a photo with watermark ?)

Important Changes in GST Registration


Per latest Notification No. 26/2022-Central Tax, 27/2022-Central Tax both dated 26th Dec 2022, and some clarification from GST department, some states require a mandatory biometric based aadhaar authentication, and additional photograph with location, timestamp watermark of the applicant at their business.
